Tulsa Commercial Real Estate Experts – Thoughts From J. Paul Gettyby U.S. SBA Entrepreneur of the Year & Cofounder of Fears & Clark Tulsa Commercial Real Estate Group – Clay ClarkWith endless amounts of “isms” and quotes out there, the world’s wealthiest man (as of 1975) surely could have started off his book with any quote he wanted to. He could have surely started his book with one of his own quotes. He could have written something more optimistic or encouraging, but he chose to reference the former and late great President Abraham Lincoln. He chose to reference President Lincoln, because he felt strongly that the current politicians (at the time he was writing his autobiography in the mid 70s) did not have any concept of the United States’ Founding Fathers and early belief systems. If J. Paul Getty is looking down on us from above today, I am sure that he has found that things have gotten much worse that they were during his time on earth.

Unfortunately today’s politicians seem to be unaware that you cannot help the wage earner by taxing the hell out of the wager-payer. Today’s government leaders seem completely clueless to the fact that you cannot further the Brotherhood of Man by encouraging class hatred like they do every election cycle. Today’s politicians are completely unaware that you cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. As they rush to create an American filled with a socialists who all are handed a government subsidized life filled with mediocrity, welfare, free college and government assistance of all kind, they are completely unaware of how this effects our country as a whole. Let’s put J. Paul Getty’s opinions aside…Let’s put my opinions aside…Let’s not put the late great President Abraham Lincoln’s wisdom aside.
