THE STORY
The concept behind Fears & Clark Realty Group began in the brain of Braxton Fears. Braxton Fears who was an establishd and very successful commercial real estate professional with a local commercial real estate company saw that his clients needed more marketing working for their real estate. He knew real estate, he understood the market and he understood that marketing real estate involved more than simply putting up a sign and listing a commercial property on a website somewhere and hoping for the phone to ring. He knew he clients wanted more and deserved more, so he began his quest to team up with someone who knew marketing, entrepreneurship and how to get things done. After much hunting, Braxton found “Award-Winning” Marketer, and serial entrepreneur Clay Clark.
The Connection:
When Braxton first approached Clay about the concept of teaming up his real estate expertise, knowledge, talents and skill with Clay’s marketing ability, Clay resisted. Clay insisted that he was not passionate about real estate and that he was passionate about getting things done quickly. Clay insisted “that the whole game would have to be changed” if he were to work in the real estate world. Clay Clark is a serial-entrepreneur of the two time recipient of the “Entrepreneur of the Year” award. In 2002, Clay was named by the Tulsa Metro Chamber of Commerce as the “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” and in 2007 he was recognized nationally by the United States Small Business Administration as the “Entrepreneur of the Year.” Clark is an author, the founder of the Tulsa Bridal Association, Cherished Traditions Videography, DJ Connection, Make Your Life Epic Business Coaching & numerous other successful Tulsa and Dallas-based small businesses and he is fueled by a passion to get things done quickly and to produce results. Over the coming months the concept was discussed at great length before Clay’s incredible wife (Vanessa Clark) finally convinced him that she believed this parternship had potential because “Braxton was a man of integrity who really knew the ins and outs of real estate.
The Results:
Over the past 2.5 years Braxton Fears has closed on over $25,000,000 of real estate transactions and team is currently responsible for the listing of over 4 million square feet of Tulsa commercial real estate in the Tulsa area. Since that time the team has now expanded to include the services of a full-time website optimization team, a professional videography team, a professional photography team, a graphic design team, a residential real estate buyer expert, a residential real estate selling expert, a commercial tenant rep, numerous full-time top-producing real estate agents, an in house public relations team and a commercial real estate contact development team headed by the Tim Markland.
